What makes it different
- You defend Cores, not a life counter. Three to six per map. When a Core is destroyed its wreck stays on the board and begins spawning enemies for the rest of the run, so losing compounds instead of ticking a number down.
- Endless mode is the point, not a post-campaign checkbox. It scales enemy health and composition rather than spawn count, and is designed to still be climbing at wave 500.
- Fixed, hand-authored lanes. No maze-building. The maps are designed objects, and there are eight of them rather than eighty.
- No accounts, no microtransactions, no online requirement, no multiplayer. This is a design constraint the project is built around, not a feature list that shrinks later.
Video and streaming policy
You may record, stream and monetise video of Heliopause, including on YouTube, Twitch and anywhere else, without asking and without a revenue share. That permission covers the full game and any pre-release build we give you. It is not revocable for a video you have already made.
Assets
